INTERIM PASTOR SEARCH

 

The Church’s Search Committee will begin in January 2017. Since that time, the Committee has worked diligently to assess the values and needs of our Church so that we can present them to you and others in this Church Profile.

For over 80 years Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church has been a place of worship. As the representatives of our congregation, we have pledged our time and collective experiences to discern who we will recommend to the Church to be Pleasant Green’s next Pastor.

Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church is currently accepting resumes for the position of Senior Pastor to shepherd its congregation. Our congregation of 150-200 members has served as a place of worship and fellowship in the community. The Pastoral Search Committee is looking for a candidate who is an outstanding preacher of the Gospel and a teacher of Gods Word. Additionally, the candidate must be enthusiastic about the church's spiritual and membership growth. The candidate must be guided by the principals outlined in (1Timothy. 3:1-7) and (Titus: 1:6-9).

 

Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church, a multi-generational, family congregation, is seeking a spirit guided and visionary pastor to lead and provide pastoral care. The pastor must be willing to work collaboratively with the elders, deacons, and all ministries of the church.
