OUR PASTOR
In 1989 Carl M. Fontentot Sr surrendered to the ministry and enrolled in the Ministerial Alliance School of Theological with the Eastern Seventh District Baptist Association of Opelousas, LA. He completed Theology school in 1993 and received a Theology certification.
Pastor Fontentot was ordained in 1991 by Dr. Johsua Frank Sr. In September of 1991 he was elected Pastor of the St Luke Baptist Church in Lemonie LA, where he served for 10 years.
Pastor Carl Fontenot was installed as the third Pastor of the Pleasant Green congregation on Sunday, August 13, 2017. Prior to new position, he also led the Mount Triumph Baptist Church in Jennings LA for sixteen years and Emma Zion Baptist Church in Melville LA for nineteen years.
OUR CHURCH
The Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church is located in the Beaumont, Texas. Under the Leadership of Pastor Carl Fontenot Sr., Pleasant Green is devoted to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ, the study and application of God’s Word and global outreach.
The Pleasant Green Baptist Church is devoted to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ through the sharing of the teachings of Jesus Christ, the expounding of sound biblical doctrine, the study and application of God’s Word, continuous prayer, and through community and global outreach.
